This is the UFC's biggest advantage. I don't even know how many boxing organizations there are anymore. The promoter's control everything in boxing. The UFC is in charge in their sport.

This is the key I think. I really know nothing about it other than one guy knocks another guy senseless and continues to pound his lifeless body until the ref jumps in. Or someone gets choked and passes out from oxygen deprivation. And finally, someone might get an arm or leg pulled in an unnatural direction until tendons tear or bones break and they quit.
