Jesus. so what if the guys gets pissed and doesn't want to hug and blow kisses and wish the other guy good luck and blessings of 40 unicorns and virgins.

When I tuned in to watch the game yesterday, I was under the impression I was gonna watch a grown man game of football with testosterone pouring out everywhere. And that's what I got. I was happy and thoroughly entertained.

It seems some of you jackwaggons wanted Lifetime and a handshake/hug/whisper of sweet nothings into each others ears from the coaches to make you feel all warm and fuzzy about how nice and classy football coaches are.

Think of coaches in your HS. I'd venture to say 95% of them were dicks. Well, I'd imagine they're the same in the pros except they get paid 5,000,000 instead of 50,000.

But, damn that was a tough loss. Replacement special teams guy coughs up the game - twice.

No doubt. But they made it this far largely due to other teams' turnovers (including one by the Saints back up return guy last week).

He is a good coach, but I don't like his attitude.

You gotta give them credit for forcing the turnovers. Their D is fricking legit.

If you wanna take that argument, LSU only beat Oregon and UGA because of turnovers.

OR

The saints only made the superbowl because of turnovers.

I agree that most coaches are assholes when they lose.

But that doesn't change the fact that as the leader of a team he should show some class after a loss.

49ers won't make the playoffs next year, book it.

I remember Bob Stoops use to be the same way, was very disrespectful to Mack Brown. He finally has mellowed. Hopefully Harbaugh will do the same over time.

So, he's not classy if he doesn't buy the other coach a seafood dinner and call him multiple times after said dinner?

I don't think failing to abide by the traditional protocal established by one's profession (not shaking hands after game) is any kind of indicator that Harbaugh, or anyone who acts that way, is more competitive or tougher than someone who does shake hands. It just makes you look immature and not in control of your emotions. Do you respect Bobby Petrino more for his post-game antics?

No one is expecting him to buy someone dinner. He coaches a team that plays a game. He's not General Petraeus forced to shake hands with some Taliban leader. His team lost, just as one team loses every game that's played. Get the frick over yourself, espescially if you're going to dish out like he did in the Detroit game.

Are you really equating a coach of a professional team sharing a brief, silent handshake to a coach of amateur, minors spouting profanities during a game directed at an opposing coach?

What's that meme that says something like... "first world problems..."

I'm not equating anything. I'm asking a question. The behavior described in his earlier posts MAY support behavior exhibited by Petrino. Petrino certainly didn't make nice, didn't buy Les dinner, and didn't exhude "warm fuzzy" feelings. Just curious how the poster compares the behavior.

Same could be said of Petrino; curious where the poster draws the line of competive tough guy and bitch arse defeatist.
