Nolan was/is my sports idol. Always respected him. Got that pic framed and still on my wall.
That said...when Ventura took over managing the White Sox, Nolan Ryan made the Texas Rangers stop showing that video when the White Sox came to town out of respect for Ventura and the game. Like a boss.
