I don't think the money is an issue as much as the question of have they burnt their bridges with him is. If he really wants to leave, then I wonder what the Hawks would want back. Conley, Arthur and a big? Would the Grizz even consider that?
I think the Hawks may just match even if he wants to leave and just try to smooth things over. It's been done before.

the only people the grizz are willing to part with are lowry, j critt, and hak. basically pick two of those and that's what the grizz will offer. they have already thrown around hak and sending j critt back to georgia. i would be for it, but we are not sending conley, mayo, or gay.
