That's the second call Chris Paul has made himself this game.

If LAC loses this series, their season would be just as big a failure as the lakers and VDN will be fired

Awesome play by Bayless

Looked legit to me. He was blocked. I agree with Charles Barkley btw. Imagine the Clippers without Paul. Scary.

But they didn't call it until Chris Paul whined about it. Refs looked like they were gonna let it play on then CP3 looked at the ref then he blew his whistle.

I was referring to the "inadvertent" whistle. Paul looks at the ref after it was initially called a foul and boom, he changes the call.

He's the best pg in the NBA. He gets those calls and is allowed to push off if necessary. I'm just saying on that play it looked to me like he got blocked.

There are my Grizzlies starting the 4th quarter off with a dud as usual.

Was it last year or the year before that the grizzlies had the horrible 4th quarter meltdown?

Last year. They have done it a few times this series as well, but not nearly as bad.
They had terrible 4th's in Game 2 and 3.

last year game 1 in LA (i believe) up by around 27 in the 4th quarter=Loss
it was truly mind blowing, had they won they would've won the series as it went to 7 games
and great now Marc has 5
ETA: Actually the game was in Memphis which makes it even worse

Why is this accepted in Basketball?
What if star MLB hitters routinely got smaller strike zones than regular players? Or what if when a star player is down in the count and the ball comes close to hitting him, but doesn't.. the batter looks at the ref with that whiny face and so the ref immediately declares that he was hit by the pitch?
It's like NBA fans have lower standards. But hey, they are amazing athletes, so I'm still going to watch.

I agree with that call, but these refs have been atrocious. So many fouls in each game.
