I've got a friend looking for a particular golf club and it appears to be pretty rare. If you go to the standard websites for golf clubs, they are out of stock. He found 2 websites that sell them, but he is a bit skeptical of the validity of these sites. Just wondering if anyone has used them before. The first one was luckygolf8.com and the other was searchcheapgolf.com. Thanks for the help.

What club is it? And I have never heard of those sites. The club probably isn't as rare as he thinks

Yeah. I just noticed.

They have several at 8.5 and 9.5 without Draw bias.

Tell your boy to learn how to hit a draw without the help.

2 things:

- Its not rare, they're just weren't a lot made. There's a difference. Rare clubs are worth more money than they originally were. This club is no where near that category. It's an average/below average club that was cancelled.

- the thing that makes it interesting is that it's a 9*, since they are normally made in half degrees, especially more then than now.

I don't mean to be blunt, but I'm just relaying the truth. Don't want y'all to get effed.

I don't really care about the verbiage, rare = you cant find a lot of them. Yes I know it is because there weren't a lot made, which is why I am asking about these sites.

I guess I'm just curious why he is seeking out that particular driver...its just odd.

No, I have never heard of those websites and would not trust them. Look at the picture taken in the website that (1) ends in a number, which is sketchy in the first place. You can see the reflection in the driver...

He recently started hitting a slice, which he has never done before, and one of my drivers (I have 2 in my bag) is that driver. He started hitting it and is bombing it, so he wants one.

Ah...well just sell him yours

He's going to get what he paid for, especially from a site like that, so keep that in mind. Tell him to go for it and hope for the best if he is hitting it good

Sell him yours and upgrade to a better driver.

There could be a lot of other things that caused the sudden occurence. Is his current driver old? How old is the shaft?

quote:

Simply stated, it means that if you are a big strong, powerful person with an aggressive swing tempo and a late release, you never want the torque in a graphite shaft to be any higher than 4 to 4.5 degrees. Otherwise, your strength and downswing force may cause the clubhead to twist the shaft, causing the clubface to be more open at impact, and resulting in a shot that hangs or fades to the right of your target.

I accidentially re-shafted my driver (testing different shafts out) with a 4.5 degree torque and I was slicing the shite out of it.
