so which is it? They will never hype a game on a rival network or only once this year? Its not a factor, there are only a few games in rival networks and only a handful of teams.

Tha pattern is you're an idiot and was just proven wrong.

CBS carries 15 games all year and ESPN has thousands, so of course the majority will be on their family of networks.

You're the fricking idiot my friend, doing game day from a game that will be aired on CBS doesn't cost money. If your theory was correct, they wouldn't even talk about those game and would certainly NEVER do game day from a CBS game. Given that they have done several over the years shows you have no idea what you are talking about.

yes, the pattern is the vast majority of college football games are on ABC/ESPN. CBS broadcasts what 10-12 games a year. NBC 6-7. There are only 13 teams whose games will be broadcast on a rival network. There are over 120 teams. And the games on CBS usually involve the same few teams. This year we've had Bama-Ark, LSU-UT, Bama-Fla, Bama USCe, Auburn-Ark, LSU-Auburn. They don't like to go to the same location twice in 1 year and want to mix up teams, conferences and locations. How many times have they been to Mizzo? Maybe they want to go to a different locale. They've not only been to Auburn this year, but several times in the past.

Well, it will never hype the competition if it has a viable option. Sometimes the ACC, Big-12, Big-10 and Pac-10 all suck so bad that they can't put together a decent game against the SEC, and then Gameday has no choice.

Didn't realize there were so many ESPN-lovers on the board. Or so many fricking idiots. But if I was stuck in Houston, I'd probably be pissed off at the world, too.

they could just do a show from the studio dipshit. They would save the cost of taking the show on the road or just go to what ever game Herbstriet is doing so they don't have to fly him across the country in a private jet that costs lots on money. Face it your conspiracy theory has been defeated with facts and you know it cause all you got now is name calling and ad hominem attacks like this zinger

ESPN-lovers
wow, I'm an ESPN lover for pointing the fact they broadcast the majority of CFB games on a given Saturday.

re: gameday @ Mizzou next week (Posted on 10/17/10 at 10:41 a.m. to thebert4130) For the millionth time. LSU_Auburn is on CBS. Gameday will never hype a game on a rival network, even if it is #1 vs. #2. Gameday does NOT go to the best game of the week. It goes to the best game of the week on THEIR family of networks (ESPN/ABC). Everyone knows LSU-Auburn is the game of the day.

You mean like the SEC championship game last year? You know the #1 vs #2 game on CBS.
