Wade hasn't got criticized as much as he did in the Pacers series (yet)..
Now if Cole and Bosh have crappy games and Lebron goes HAM and the Bulls somehow win...
Wade will get destroyed by the media.
Some ESPN writer was just on the radio here and is writing an article this morning that will be up on espn soon. He said it was about Wade and his performance (or lack of) so far.
Last time that happened in last year's Pacers series, Wade lost his mind the next game and went apeshit.
So, dunno, but if the article rips Wade a new arse, I expect he will get pissed. Maybe the article won't be that bad though, dunno.

Danny Crawford, Marc Davis, Jason Phillips, and Sean Corbin (alternate)
So from Scott Foster (hothead) to Joey Crawford (T-happy) to Danny Crawford (both)

Didn't you predict that same score twice already?

He's that confident in it

FWIW, I've watched probably 85% of all Bulls games this season.
Every time I predict that they will get blown out or that they look too tired, they prove me wrong.
In short: This season has prove to me one thing about this Bulls team, expect the unexpected.
Every time I count them out, I look like a dumbass (granted this is the Heat, so maybe the Bulls will get blown out tonight, but still).

I've loved this series. The hatred between these two teams is awesome. I just want the refs to let them play. Stop the ticky tack fouls.

Worthy of note:
Against Jimmy Butler this series, Lebron is shooting almost a full 10% below his season average:
Games 1-3 when defended by Butler: ~47%
Season Average: ~57%
I'm seriously starting to think Butler is a better defender on Lebron than Deng is, and thats saying something, considering Deng is considered one of the top 3 defenders against Lebron in the entire NBA.

Notably, the Heat do not seem to get more fouls called or free throws attempted in their favor when Crawford refs, so the difference in performance can’t be directly attributed to foul calls, which is obviously something the referees contribute to significantly.

The guy for Miami that needs to pick up his play is Chalmers. He's been the worst rotation player in the series. Bad offense, bad defense. If he's not careful, he's going to end up playing the Haslem role of starting, playing 10-15 minutes, and sitting on the bench to close games.

I'm not insinuating anything. Just thought it was noteworthy.
By the way, I'm not bitching at all about the FT's. My problem is with the way that the fouls are called and how they are called, especially from Q to Q.
I have no problem with the FT's attempted by either team.

Butler is doing a great job against Lebron. And,The best defense against him is taking away inside passes, and that is exactly what the Bulls are doing.

If I'm a Heat fan, I want Cole to start against Nate over Chalmers for this series.
Chalmers has been, for the most part, terrible defensively against Nate, and just plain dumb on the offensive end.
The only thing hes been good for is that patented drive, throw the ball up, and spiral into the crowd for an And-1.

Like.. the article seemed to be insinuating a conspiracy of some sort, but then threw in a paragraph at the bottom with a "oh by the way, there's no evidence to support this." I follow Amin on twitter though. He seems like a good guy. Just a weird article.

quote:I mean it's pro basketball. The games are difficult to officiate by only 3 guys. Though I'm still not sure why Bulls fans are upset with Butler's early fouls. You can't reach in 3-5 times and not expect to get a foul called against you, even without contact. The referees are pretty consistent calling that type of defensive play a foul. Also, I'm pretty sure there were points during that play when Butler had two hands on LeBron's back, which is an automatic foul, that the ref's let go.

I really think so far the officiating has evened out. I mean Battier got called for 2 blocks on 2 clear charges in Game 3. Chicago sports radio, unfortunately, is stoking the flames.

I guess my issue is that if the refs call the quickies on Butler, they're fricked, and thats probably the Bulls homer in me.
I mean who else can defend or slow down Lebron without Deng playing than Butler?
