How about Clay Buchholz? The guy already has a no-hitter.

If the Dodgers are smart and very careful with his innings and development, Clayton Kershaw could be 225-250 win pitcher. And yes, I realize that is a bold statement this day in age.

This is a good point.

There are a shitload of good young players in MLB right now.

No one even mentioned Longoria or Rasmus or David Price...

Also, I don't think Jacoby will ever be a superstar. He will be a solid player IMO, but he's never going to hit for much power and I can't ever see him being the main attraction anywhere he goes.

So, kinda like Carl Crawford? Who has yet to develop any significant power.

I hear mixed reviews on Rasmus. Having not seen Longoria much, I can't tell if he will live up to the hype. He certainly has the size and power to be a great one though.

Carl does pretty well in the total bases category, which is power by most peoples standards.

Yeah, he does well, but he was billed as a potential 30/40 or 30/50 guy, but has yet to hit 20 HR, and had barely broken 80 RBI.

I think Ellsbury can hit for higher average than Crawford.

There is a kid from around here that went to Southern and now plays for the Giants. Fred Lewis. He played ball with my son and is the real deal!! Go Fred.
