Cleveland is 11-5. They're point differential is -11.

Washington is 7-9. They're point differential is +6.

Washington is the first team with a losing record and a positive point differential to make the playoffs.

The previous two teams with losing records to make the playoffs won their wildcard game. (The 7-9 Seahawks that beat the Saints had a ln all time playoff worst -97 differential)

The Cleveland Browns are only the 2nd team in NFL history to win 11 games with a negative point differential. The other was the 2012 Colts (-30) (rookie Andrew Luck)

Only 1 team in nfl history has won the super bowl with a negative point differential in the regular season. The 2011 New York Giants (9-7 -6)

It was simply the Browns first 2 losses of the season to the Steelers and the Ravens where they got beat by 60+ points combined. But yes, the Browns defense has been really bad. Their offense is young and talented, so their off season should consist of nothing but defensive upgrades and getting guys back healthy. The Browns have been without Garrett, Ward, Greedy, Delpit, Phillips, Harrison and Wilson for multiple games this season. Basically all the LSU guys have been MIA because of injuries. Hopefully they can all come back next year healthy. But yes, that stat line is because of 2 games.
