If I had to make a play I'd take state but 12 points in a game b/t 2 in state rivals when neither side is a real good team is scary. Kansas is pretty shitty though.

I don't see anyway that Arkansas, Nebraksa, or Alabama don't cover. Alabama is a GREAT team playing an injured crappy team at home. It will be a blood bath.

Arkansas is good and beating Ole Miss by 20 should be a given on a average day. Ole miss will score more than 7 but I don't see them clearing 14. I think they score about 10 to 13.

Minnesota might be worse than Ole Miss. Nebraska at worst will put up 42 points.

Minn may be the worst BCS conference squad this year. That's true. I haven't looked today - is the line still at 24?

I've seen it at 25.5 and now 25. Have it at 25.5 in a straight bet and it switched to 25 in a parlay.

No, other than some highlights.

I just think there are better games out there to bet on before an instate rival game.

Not so hard to believe that

I think that Arkansas, Nebraska, Bama, Oregon and Ok St are better games to take before that.

I don't play but probably 3 to 5 games a weekend so I won't touch the KU KST game. I've watched the above mention teams more than once.

Only playing Ark, Neb, and Bama straight. If I win the Ark game I may lay money on the Ducks too.

Put 275 on bama, 250 on Ark and 150 on Nebraska. 50 in a parlay, 15 in a teaser parlay.

Good luck to those that take state, I'm just not playing it.

I 100% agree that K-state game shouldnt be in the LOCK thread im just saying, they SHOULD handle this game pretty easily.

K-state is pretty solid watched them play probably 2 and a half games this year and every time I have watched them Ive been pretty impressed with them

Like I said i agree it shouldnt be a lock I was just giving them some credit because people just think oh its K-State they are average at best, this team is a solid team

It only took a few years for Bill to get K St back in the positive when it comes to TO margin but they are about to run into some teams that won't choke the game away. With that being said - Kansas isn't one of those teams.

Anyone think the UL vs Western Kentucky (-3.5) is a good bet assuming the line hasn't changed.

right on

they looked pretty good when they played miami, baylor and mizzou

they don't have a high numbers offense, but Kansas has the 120th ranked D and don't see anything changing on that side of the ball for them in a weeks time

the jayhawks only hope is that their running back who is very doubtful for the game plays, but very doubtful is the key words when dealing with a concussion.. the only thing that could probably slow them down in some injuries at wideout and OL spots that could slow them down

Yea i put 2 bills on Ark i really dont see them not blowing ole piss out. I would figure the line to be in the 20s thats the only thing that scares me but i think they roll. I also like N.Illnois-14 vs Buffalo. Havent seen either play just know Buffalo is absolutely terrible. They give up over 200 rush yds per game and N.Illnois rushes for 2 plus so should run all over them. I have 2 bills on N.Illnois and parlayed them with Arky for 1

I like ULL to keep rollin. Prolly will put a bill on this also.

I literally know nothing about Western Kentucky, couldn't even name one starter on their defense... UL has looked really nice this year though, even against Ok State til halftime.

WV -14 @ Syr: Not much to be said here.

Not much handicapping happened here. You and the CFB Bet thread guys are gonna learn the hard way despite this season's chalkfest start. That you can't just go around laying double digit chalk, much less on the road, like it's stealing. At least once past the nation's elite meatgrinder teams without a major weakness, and controlling literally all edges to the game.

And not when with horribly ranked smallish Ds and/or Special Teams that like allowing 100 yard TD returns, etc..like WVU. Eers lone 1st Half TD a fluke. Game was an A-to-Z arse whooping by Cuse.

Even if Cuse would've lost the game straight-up, don't you think their ballers practice hard too, feel lactic acid and pain, may wish to play a good game at home for their fans, and not be embarrassed on national isolated tv, etc..

Look, you are up on the season, have made some solid picks, some with good angles. But, you airmailed this one in, due to bias and lazy capping, were arrogant and dismissive of Syracuse's chances..dead wrong side and a super-simpleton to lay 2 TDs on an isolated tv tilt..which didn't work for the MSB's CFB thread squares tonight, or on Hou @ UTEP either, etc..

Rock-Paper-Scissors, USF won at ND, ND won at Pitt, so every simpleton is on USF at Pitt in Thursday Night isolated ESPN tv affair..eh they're wrong..Pitt by landslide..respect the Thur-Fri home dog!

Home Dogs, be it Pro or NCAA, when on isolated tv affairs versus no other competition on the tv dial, means a big big stage, they're gonna wanna get respect, and if not totally outmanned(Boise @ Toledo), are gonna come to play very hard!

Cuse now in a 5-2 three-way tie with WVU & Rut for 2nd, behind 5-1 Cincy..in the most Mickey-Mouse AQ Conference.

Western has won like 3 games total in the past 3 years - when they moved up to FBS. Prior to that they were a great FCS school but they just haven't been able to compete with, even, the small frys. Great college campus, really nice facilities, horrible football team.
