I don't have an issue saying the playing field was level in Pride.
Against a current DC, things would be different. USADA makes it a lot harder for DC to level with Fedor in Pride. I think Fedor probably used in Pride, just because it was pretty open and accepted.

Ironically Fedors legacy should probably be even greater due to performance enhancing drug use. By his opponents.
He competed in Pride and Rings against some guys who were definitely juicing. Arona in Rings was juiced to the gills.
3 out of his 4 losses in the U.S. were against guys who tested hot.
I highly doubt the ultra religious and orthodox fedor who has also had a soft pudgy physique with very little visible muscle definition has ever juiced.
I personally wouldn't mind seeing Fedor hit the juice hard right now. I think if he did, he would turn back the clock 10 years and beat the shite out of everyone again as he used too. Would be fun to watch.

Here’s the thing even if Fedor did use PEDs I don’t really care
Steroids and PEDs up until USADA were extremely common throughout all of MMA and the people who didn’t use are few and far between.

I think he did, but I don't really care either. In Pride, I don't know why you'd put yourself at a disadvantage by not using.
Steroids don't always mean someone's ripped either. Look at top level strongmen. A lot aren't ripped, but are on and strong as ****.
As long as it isn't an unequal playing field, PED use is an athlete's own choice. Fedor was on an equal playing field in Pride, so whether he did or didn't...it doesn't really matter.
I only care in a hypothetical bout vs current DC where he has to comply with USADA. That would be an unequal playing field.

Well since he’s been popped multiple times then it’s a little different than just assuming Fedor did
Also, this discussion has been about pre-usada MMA. Jones cheats now and I’m sure sure cheated before.
