Mike Smith has just completely forgotten how our team operates. I really think that all of the "explosive offense" talk in the offseason completely screwed up our mentality. There is no reason in the world we should run the ball 18 times and throw for 45.
Its like were trying to be this aerial assault team that scores at will. Well newsflash: we have a qb that couldnt complete a deep pass if there was no defense on the field and when he does make good throws, we have 2 wrs who couldnt begin to catch a ball.
We need Ryan to go back to game managing and stop this ridiculous passing attack.

yeah, being within 2 plays of tying up the game against the 12-0 packers is really horrible

Agreed. I really do think Dmitroff and Blank are trying to install the NOLA/GB throw at will type offense. With our team that is a recipe for disaster.

You lost by 8 and were not within 2 touchdowns until GB started trying to run the clock out. The game WAS NOT close.
