2 horses and their jockeys took a bad spill in the 4th race. The track cancelled the rest of the races after the 5th race. Anyone know what happened?

We had a horse scheduled to race in the sixth race. Ambulance was not available at the track and so the rest of the night was canceled. Our trainer was not happy - said this only happens at Evangeline. No way the rest of the day would be canceled at FG.

My friend is at the top of Acadian. Could have an ambulance sitting there in minutes.

Well, cost is a big factor. But a simple solution is to call in another immediately when the 1st has to leave the scene....like another other accidents in America
I liken it to a festival in Louisiana. You have meds there, but not enough if 20 people need and ambulance...more are called in.
Not sure what you expect them to do. Are you suggesting they have 3 or 4 ambulances sitting at the track each night?

One horse was 97/1 and the other was 55/1. LA bred rats running for 5k claim. Probably had no business being there. Its what happens when there is no HISA
