For the first round of the nba draft, the round people might watch, it was, on ABC and ESPN both, just a bunch of clowns. Every possible idiot they could put on the coverage they did.
Tonight they have actual basketball people on and no one will be watching.
What the frick

They pay the most money so they get the No. 1 NBA TV package. But the NBA adding another major over the air network in NBC (direct competitor to ABC) with a significant TV package at least somewhat signals the NBA wants change in its coverage. Now whether NBC lives up to the nostalgia remains to be seen. I don't expect 1995-level production value.

Unfortunately, people don’t like analysis. ESPN News being a ratings fire proved it. The average American is a moron, and our programming reflects that.
