Looks like EA will be in the market for a new baseball coach
VETERAN HEAD COACH STEPS DOWN:
SportsNOLA.com has learned that Wayne Grenfell has resigned as the head baseball coach at East Ascension after four seasons.
Grenfell coached previously at Vermilion Catholic, East St. John, Sacred Heart and Thibodaux. Grenfell was the 5A State Coach of the Year in 2006 at Thibodaux.
This past season, Grenfell led East Ascension to a 17-17 record, including 8-7 in 6-5A. The Spartans reached the state playoffs, losing 6-2 to St. Thomas More in the bi-district round.
East Ascension reached the playoffs in 2009, falling in the bi-district round to West Monroe.

My sources say Jim Riggleman left the Nationals for this job.
