All about player safety?

But the NFL put strong regulations on practice time.

I think the point is since they are playing more games in a shorter period they have a more likely chance of getting hurt since their bodies have a shorter amount of time to recover, not just playing Thursday night games.
I know that's the point. Are there any stats to back that point up, or are we just assuming that that point is right? It makes sense to say, but I wouldn't be shocked if Thursday games have no more injuries than Sunday games.

How will tomorrow's injury report compare with your average team's Monday injury report following a Sunday game? Does anybody know, or are we just assuming that more players get hurt on Thursday than on Sunday?

I want to say I've read an analysis that found no more injuries from TNF compared to Sunday games. However even if that we're true the fact that we now have TNF the entire season could alter the results.

79 minutes & 24 seconds is how much time Philly's defense has been on the field this week.

This is going to be a long season for that defense.
