I like Dufner but sooner or later he needs to show emotion. Its almost like its holding him back. I mean he has so many close calls and only 1 victory. His game is so much better than that.

J.J. Henry has to be disappointed. Man, he nuked that 7 iron on 17. Too much club AND over the top.

Like Faldo and Nantz said, Dufner could be money in the Ryder Cup. Never shows emotion, so the Euros won't know what the hell he's thinking.

Further proof that Feherty's elevator doesn't approach the penthouse level.

During the post round interview we learned that a Northern Irishmen, living in Dallas, is a Bama fan. Does Bama have a rugby team?

Yes he is. But stick to golf and interviewing The Donald.

We'll handle the SEC football talk.

I gotta disagree with you here.

I think his emotional consistency is what is finally making things come together for him.

Sergio Garcia is emotional.

Jason Dufner is professional.

No doubt about it, Jason Dufner is no longer an under-the-radar name. Despite the quiet demeanor, the guy has a game that's well suited for success on the PGA Tour. He never gets too high or two low, and when he does make a mistake, you never get the feeling that the wheels are going to fall off completely.

You need that kind of steely demeanor and consistency to thrive out there, and from what we've seen from him recently, he's starting to look like the complete package. Time will tell if that ends up being the case, but for the moment, we need to give the guy his due.

Dufner isn't one to show much excitement. He had a very subtle fist pump and a quick wave when the winning putt went in. That's just part of his style. Does he ever get extra expressive?

"Here and there a couple of times a year," Dufner said. "Usually there is some alcohol involved or Auburn football, but for the most part I'm laid back."

Hope an actual person who follows pro golf didnt write this. Huge difference in showing it and actually doing it. He cant sit there and write and thing he didnt get too high at the Masters. I mean his demeanor is like Ernie. But everyone knows pressure got to Ernie mid/late in his career. If his demeanor worked it wouldnt have taken him so long to win and to make it on tour. He has the all around game to make it, but just started to finally "make it" a couple years ago.

Damn I also missed the two part....yawn... amateurs.

I just now saw the highlights. Dufner's got to show a little bit more excitement when draining a 25 footer for the win. I can understand keeping your cool when there is more work to be done, but he just nailed a walk-off. People want to cheer for for you, but you have to be likable and show a little personality.
