Did I miss something on Berkman?
The Astros have a day off tomorrow, why is he not starting at GABP? And he's only hitting .400 off of Volquez... brilliant.

He was due for a day off and has 1 hit in his last 22 AB's so I guess coop wants him to sit to try to re group. Like you I wish he was playing though

well Berkman isn't going to break out a slump on the bench, and this is his best ballpark. Plus there's an off day tomorrow... oh well.

Oh I agree. Just trying to make some logic out of it. Pretty fricking dumb not to let your best hitter hit his way out of his slump but oh well. I guess Coop realized Paulino was going to bring the pain tonight so we only need 1 run. Lee can get that for us.
