The new coach at Louisiana College? Coach Rushing retired after 37 years at the school. Coach Mason will only be the 4th or 5th head coach in the school's history going back over 100 years.

Yeah, Billy Allgood was there forever, too.

He was a good player at LaTech. He is going to be a good head coach....not sure why it has taken this long.

That's good to hear. As an older LC alum I had a great friendship with both Coach Allgood and Coach Rushing. Both great gentlemen who did things the right way with a lot of heart and hard work to be competitive at a lower level. They were NAIA when I went there and are now D3 with the NCAA which hurt them from the ability to award athletic scholarships.

He is a great guy. Hard working and Been successful at the high school level. His teams are always tough hard nosed defensive teams. He gets a lot out of his players. His teams are very discipline and generally over achieve. Good hire imo

Played against him AND Roman Banks in high school. They played for Captain Shreve. He was short. Pretty good little guard. He had a fade like Ben McDonald's but a little taller. Not Kid N play tall though.
