no when gordon returns does hanley go to 3B? is victorino still lead off?
Dee Gordon is a horrible baseball player. Defensive metrics have him as the worse defensive SS in the majors to go with his .562 OPS

Gonzalez is in LA lineup tonight.
Trade is complete, only awaiting Selig's approval.
Red Sox gets Webster, De La Rosa, Sands, and De Jesus... Webster and De La Rosa are nice arms as well as a huge salary dump. I like it for the Red Sox.

We're looking at this Dodgers lineup for a playoff push:
Victorino LF

Still not building up farm system either, they were acquired. Varitek is one you could argue since he never played in majors for Seattle but he was not a home grown prospect either.
Papi had not done much but he had accumulated over 1k at bats and 6 seasons for the Twins

Only great addition is A-Gon, Beckett is going to be the 3rd or 4th best pitcher and Crawford is done for the season.
This move is great for the BoSox because they can basically start over from scratch with a much younger core. If Crawford wasn't injured, I would say this is a good move for LA.

Beckett is only a season removed from a 2.89 ERA and he is moving into a great pitchers park. HE is going to be below Kershaw but he could end up as second best pitcher on Dodgers at end of yea. Plus he has playoff and WS experience.

A former pitcher I talk to absolutely believes he is done and this season will be his norm until he retires.
He could be wrong, but his velocity is down this year as well which is a huge concern.

i'm hopin he has been mailing it in this yr, and pretending to be hurt cause he hated boston.
if he came to LA and dominated, i'd laugh my arse off.

Yahoo article on this stiuation has this:
Maybe it's just me but do either of those guys have the mental makeup to handle Boston? Clearly it got to Carl Crawford and both of those guys have had issues in the past.

Once the trade is official, its reshaping begins. Enough front-line pieces exist for the Red Sox to enter 2013 with hope, especially considering the depth and quality of their prospects and what the newfound financial freedom may afford them, be it Josh Hamilton, Zack Greinke or whoever else fears not stepping into the terrordome that is present-day Boston baseball culture.

You're a joke
why?
do you have to be from a city to like a team?
i guess all louisiana braves fans are jokes as well.

I have no clue where Hamilton will end up. I still believe that Texas is by far the best place for him.
I could see Greinke going to Boston though. Or the Rangers trading Elvis to Boston for Jacoby.

Of course not. I bet it must be so difficult for you to be a fan of the Celtics, Dodgers, LSU, and lord knows what football team you like, probably the Pats

Braves were adopted by the gulf coast, chief.

the dodgers haven't won a WS since 1988, the celtics have won 1 title in like 20 yrs, and i graduated from LSU.

you do realize the hornets didn't come here until 2002, right?
i'd been a celtics fan way before 2002. was i supposed to just drop the team i followed because the charlotte hornets relocated to new orleans?

No offense, but you're coming off pretty badly here.
