Nehro for the Preakness...I was there, he lost out on the winner's circle by a couple of inches

I did! I heard a handicapper on Sirius channell93 Horce racing channel. He said he was placing a win bet on AK and on arch3 so I followed his advice.

The chart suggests that the winning margin was 2 3/4 lengths not inches.

I just act like a granny

with flashpoint in the Preakness there will probably be a bit more pace. Maybe ak can do it again?

i'd say that's likely depending on post position. will definitely be interesting to see. here are the fractions from the Hutcheson and the FL Derby (the only two graded stakes races for Flashpoint):

Hutcheson 22.16, 44.53, 1:08.84, 1:22:03 7f <---- Flashpoint set the pace
Florida 23.30, 46.35, 1:10.63, 1:36:38 m <---- Shackleford set the pace

oh, and btw..

Preakness probable:

Concealed Identity
Owner: Morris Bailey
Trainer: Edmond D. Gaudet
Bred: Maryland (USA) by Patricia L. Chapman - Bowman and Higgins Stable
Pedigree: Smarty Jones - Richetta by Polish Numbers

I am hoping to see a triple crown before I kick the bucket so I always pull for the Derby winner. However, I am a big Smarty fan and would be ok if CI won. P.S. I don't think he has much of a chance.

same here. i'll be pulling for AK all the way. probably won't place but one or two bets and they will include him.
