Well yea I would too, but your average fan wouldnt. They'd catch the highlights on sportscenter.

What an US Open. Sad that a big name couldnt win but everybody what they wanted. 1 shot lead with 1 too play is as exciting as it gets in the US Open. Phil and Ernie lost this more than Graeme won this. Tiger not so much as he shot his wad Saturday. Phil not hitting the greens on 14 and 15 was a joke/choke. Ernie making double was a joke/choke. Great course setup and great tournament though. Hope Fay is in charge at the Open.

Wow. No mention of your boy Johnson. The guy I said would choke. He is still trying to work that walnut from his throat.

I did say he would shoot 75 and win. 82 was a bit harsh for him. That being said, he did play an amazing 3 rounds at Pebble before stumbling. Choke? Absolutely. He saw Phil made birdie on one and he crumbled from then on. He should not have hit driver or 3 wood all day. I wish I was on his bag because I have broken both of them.

Yes he did. Deserves props. Yesterday was not fun golf to watch. Interesting but not fun. IMO.

Pebble Beach is great and all but there is alot of other courses I'd love to see before Pebble. The players play that course like 3-5 times a year and its to the point alot of these courses like Bethpage are in this select club of US Open courses they play now. The USGA needs to go into some different states besides CA, NY, and PA.
I mean 1/2 the Opens are in NY now?

Time of year. This is normally the time the greens brown and therefore get really fast in the north. Weather is a factor too as it always rains in the south in the summer. Although playing at Pebble in a tournament is good, it isnt the same as playing in the US Open. It really isnt even close.

A course in NY isn't even on the rotation for the next 10 years...

And they are going to two new courses. And Marion hasn't been used in two generations as an Open Site.

They should keep it on the WC if only for the fact that it produces live golf in prime time!

BTW, it's at Chambers Bay in Seattle in 2015...got to play the course when I was there for LSU-UW and it was incredible.

Couldn't swing it with everyone else's schedule...I wanted to go badly.
