I'd rather do a full rebuild then go into purgatory like they were post 05 World Series. This team has similarities since you've got an aging legend chasing 3000 hits. Who do you move?
I'd trade Brown, I think teams would overpay for him.
Pena, feels like Carlos 2.0, really good when he's healthy but he's not always healthy.
Hader, people will overpay for a great closer and why does this team need a great closer?
Walker, sell high!
Parades, I go back on forth on but people will usually overpay for a good professional hitter.
Yordan, one minute I say trade the next minute I say no.
It's obvious Crane needs to go back to the Luhnow way of things, every player is expendable. I don't know who you hire as GM. With Boston catching fire does this make yall less enthusiastic about Cora?

Tear it down to the frame outside Yordan, Tuve and a handful of others.
Fire everyone and let Jim go back to being a silent observer. And I never want to see Bagwell or Reggie Jackson besides sitting in the stands.
The farm system is basically barren, and our player development and scouting based on analytics have taken a massive shite.

I will hang in there with whatever the franchise decides to do, with one exception. If they trade Yordan, I am out. I don't care what the return is. He is the only reason to turn the games on at this point.
Otherwise, nobody else is untouchable.
I think there is almost zero chance Altuve or Carlos gets moved, for various reasons, and I can live with that.
Pena, Brown, Paredes, and Hader fit into the "I would like to keep them around" category, but for the right price I could live with seeing them move on.
Among the lower-priced players, I would like to hang on to Spaghetti. We have seen him at his best and at his worst, all in the last 2 months. I think his true value is somewhere in the middle, which is fine. I like what Okert brings also.
And God bless Lambert. Dude is due to turn back into a pumpkin at some point, but he is pitching his arse off right now.
The rest of these guys can kindly GTFO. Hopefully someone would be willing to take Walker off our hands at a good price. Not sure how much value Abreu has and I am not sure they would put Yanier on the market, but I wish they would.
What is most disappointing is that we haven't even come close to replacing Springer in center field in the 6 years he has been gone. Yeah, it was a hard ask to find some one equal to George's production...but CF has been a damned black hole with no relief in sight.

Agreed on the CF void specifically but it’s been an OF void in general.
From 2017-2022, we always had 2 (and sometimes all 3) solid bats out there (and good defense)
Springer Marwin Reddick 2017-2018
Springer Brantley Reddick 2019

It was after that 2022 season that things really came off the rails in the OF. Brantley missed the last half of 2022 (and most of 2023) and they never replaced his production. I think the fact that we managed to win the World Series in 22 gave the front office the impression that we could continue towin big with an outfield of Tucker and a bunch of meh. In typical fashion, our medical staff completely whiffed on Brantley‘s injury. And we were marginally successful while Tucker was still here, although the win totals dropped considerably in the two years following the championship. They put all their eggs into the Jakes and the Chas’s and bombed pretty miserably. Yes, they had Yed playing LF at times but then you lose the production at DH so that’s really an illusion.
Now that Tucker is gone, we don’t even have a good enough outfield to be meh. Hell, I’d settle for meh right now.
