Well, it’s been a good run, baws.

Time to close the Buc-ee’s temporarily for repairs.

Altuve does some really great things for us and gets a lot of hits. But Jesus Christ, he can give us some REALLY REALLY REALLY bad at bats a lot of times. It's kind of disappointing. He was extremely bad tonight though. Stupid base running error at the beginning of the play, GIDP in an important at bat in the 6th, and a terrible K in the 9th tonight. He needs to bat a lot better in pressure situations. And I mean a lot better. Still the best hitter on our team so it's not a huge concern, but a concern nonetheless.

Games we lost where the starter has allowed 1 or 0 runs with 10+ strikeouts

Verlander against the Rangers 8IP 1R 11K
Verlander against the Yankees 8IP 0R 14K
Verlander against the Rays 6.2IP 1R 10K
Cole tonight 6IP 0R 11K

Could be more, these are the ones I remembered. That's the difference between 65-28 and 61-32.

Yeah, but just look at that run differential.
