I mean Berti is hitting .278 and can steal bases, but no power and his error against the Pirates probably cost us that middle game. I agree with you on Shaw I think he'll be a good player.

I think the Cubs are confident in Shaw which made it easy not to overpay for Bregs.

There's at least 10 teams more likely. You have to be trolling, I can't see any other logical reason to make the above statement. What have the Cards done the last few years to make you think No. 1 they would be in on him and No. 2 if they were he'd go there?
