I don't understand why we pitch to him. He's the bst hitter I've ever seen.

The Reds never pitch around him either.

he was leading off the inning and hit a wind blown HR barely into the basket, I wouldn't walk him there

I don't care if we walk him to leadoff an inning...it's better than letting him hit a homer

All the more reason to walk him...if he gets it in the air...it's gone

you can't walk him to start the inning.

It was a cock shot mistake that barely got out

When the wind is blowing out, Brendan Ryan can hit the ball in the air and it will be out, you dont want to start walking people and make solo HR's turn into multi run HR's

Ya'll would be singing a different tune if we'd walked him and then got out of the inning without giving up a run

Walk Pujols to lead off an inning... in the 5th inning?

What a joke.

You don't walk someone to lead off an inning, ever.

What are the chances of that even happening? Pujols would steal second, and break Theriot's leg while sliding into the bag. Then he'd go to third on a sacrifice, piss on A-Ram, and score on a sacrifice or a base hit. The motherfricker is gonna get his. He might as well do it with the bases empty.

Aramis is in for a huge 2nd half...he's looked real good at the plate since he returned. He's been robbed a couple times too.
