You must be referring to the time he lit Bird up for a playoff record 69 points. Is that the time Bird ate him up? Again this is completely false, Jordan did guard 3s before and after Pippen and Magic never ate him up either. Pippen defended Magic when they’d face each other. Another false statement is that Jordan wasn’t a good team defender or that Pippen was better. Pippen was bigger so he usually took the bigger men but Jordan defended just as many top scorers and usually took the other teams best player, something Lebron refuses to do. And you’re right Jordan couldn’t defend McHale, Malone or any of the great centers from that era but LeBron couldn’t have either and this fantasy that he defends top 4s and 5s is just not true. Have you ever seen LeBron guard Anthony Davis or Boogie or Embiid or Towns or even Dwight Howard and Tim Duncan early in his career? No you haven’t the only time he’s ever matched up on a 4 or 5 is when it’s a small lineup with someone like Draymond Green or the like at those positions. The statements you’re posting simply aren’t true.
