Since the merger, aka the modern NFL, the Steelers(counting today's game) have played in 58 postseason games. Dallas(56),San Francisco(49)and New England(will be 48) are up there also. The Steelers have been by far the most consistent by decade winning more divisional championships(22) and having more playoff appearances(29) than any other team.
