What deep “meaning” are you searching for?? By your measure, almost every bowl game and almost every regular season game is already “meaningless”. Even in years past, even before the BCS, all those bowl games with the pageantry and starters playing hard and hoisting trophies… all those were meaningless. They’ve always been meaningless.
I guess everyone was just too silly to know it until now. Thank god we now have the NFL but with college players. This is great shite.
