Resumes change week to week...nothing more lazy is when voters or posters use the preseason or early season rankings to justify.
Clemson-LSU is a Prime example. Voters putting LSU at #1 or #2 , hanging their hat on...."LSU beat #4 Clemson!" Ahh, not so fast....the next week Clemson proved they were a paper Tiger, fool's gold, egregiously wrong early ranking....
LSU didn't beat a Top 10 team to have on their Resume all year, set in stone at the time they played....but a Clemson team falling and its where they end up that matters. Voters need to readjust their rankings to accurately reflect how a team's,opponents play down the road, not where they were erroneously ranked when they played.
