And in rehab starts, pitchers are often working on specific things and they're not too concerned with the "outcome" of their performance.

I don't think there's an understanding of the monumental difference between the off speed pitches and the ability to disguise those pitches of MLB pitchers and MiLB pitchers, much less college pitchers. No way a college all star team is consistently making solid contact against a healthy diet of MLB sliders and curve balls using wooden bats.

You get the right pitcher one game anything can happen but I've always heard from LSU players who have played in the minors - even the highest level SEC Friday night matchup is probably only about to the level of high A minor league ball.

You should be Pete Rosed for this comment. In the history of TD this may be the worst post of all time and what makes it so bad is your so stupid you honest to God believe that. If that team played a full 162 game season they would not win 10 games. They would very a 500 team in AA and that is not my opinion its a fact. Congrats your first ballot HOF of stupid.

College baseball is not on par with AA. Not in the least. College baseball is par with short-season class A leagues like the old New York Penn league. An advanced A and Florida State League low class A would demolish a college all-star team.
Against a major league team it would be like 45-0.
Against a major league team it would be like 45-0.

The White Sox would sweep every time.
baseball is a funny sport.
the best and most talented team doesn't always win.
over the course of a season? yeah it wouldn't be close and the college team would lose 100+ games.
over the course of one weekend?
weird shite happens sometimes.
