Chris Martin, from the University of Florida, posted on his FB earlier this morning that he was leaving the Football team.
Florida rivals site ran with it and put it out via Text message.
A few minutes later Martin wrote that he was kidding. Rivals sends another text correcting their error.
Finally, Martin writes: "FOR ALL YOU FBSTALKERS THAT POST OUR STUFF TO MESSAGE BOARDS...HERE IS THE FIGURATIVE FINGER FOR BEING NOSY."
He actually spelled everything right too.

i like it, if i wanted people to stop stalking me on FB and I was a CFB player I'd post stuff like that every other day

If you don't want people in your personal life, don't add every single person that friend requests you. They do have privacy settings, but I wouldn't expect him to know how to do all that kind of stuff. I bet the coaching staff also loved getting phone calls about it and if he really was leaving the program
Or if you just don't have a Facebook/Myspace/Twitter you don't have to worry about anyone snooping around on you, but heaven forbid he can't try to bang every hot chick in Florida.
He does come from the same genius school as Will Hill, and we all saw how ingenious he was once he got a hold of a Twitter account
