They got it right.

Neither award should be awarded forthe strength of your teammates. How can Peyton get basically 1 vote and he as the best offensive player and not win MVP.

It actually probably makes less sense that the best MVP is always on the best team sense football is a team sport. One player typically can't do it all.

You are correct. One player is not of significant value to a team.

5 people had more passing yards than him. Favre had one less td than him, but 4 less picks. Aaron Rodgers had more passing yards, less picks, more total touchdowns, despite being sacked 50 times compared to Brees' 20 times.

You sir are a homer.

Tampa Bay cost Brees the MVP over Manning. It's a game Brees lost playing the full game at QB. Manning left the Jets game leading, and played garbage Buffalo minutes.

Johnson deserves the Offensive POY. He broke the Yards from Scrimmage record.

They got both awards correct.

As far as Defense, the MVP should have gone to Revis. His team finished #1 in Defense and #1 Pass Defense.

Defensive POY could conceiveably go to Woodson because of the TD's, Int's, and tackles. Patrick Willis should also be considered.

I think the Dallas game is when Brees lost it.
