T-Wood has been great all year but over 162 things performance finds its true level.
Several chances to close this one, Edwards, Chapman couldn't finish either. Tough one to lose.

On the bright side, Coors Field isn't exactly the easiest place to make your major league debut as a pitcher, and Pena and Zayyyystyyyy or whatever looked pretty good.
And Hendricks will be MLB's ERA leader this week after another great outing.

I've been reading Wood's peripherals were shite all year so this was bound to come. His strikeout rate went from like 30% in the pen last year to 17%. Maybe a DL rest stint for him would help too. He has a ton of appearances.

Yep, I was thinking about a month ago he was being used an awful lot.
