I think celebrating getting in the playoffs and winning the WC game are kind of lame, but they are grown men and can do what they want.
Totally legit to celebrate winning a division though. The baseball regular season is a hell of a grind.
Doing one after winning the division series is ok I guess, but also seems like a bit of overkill.
Of course you would do one for winning the championship series, and world series.

People hate on celebrating after the play in game, but its a pretty big deal. I like seeing that spontaneity more than a team with a 10 game lead suddenly going crazy when they clinch.

Overall I think it's a little silly, but have no problem with it when they are truly celebrating and spraying it everywhere.
However, as I saw in the Royals' celebration, just standing there slowly pouring it on a teammates head while he takes deep breaths is just a bit creepy
