I like those predictions, but I think Oregon/TTU will be more like 24-21.

I have to agree. The only thing that gives me pause is the lack of playing time for Tech. It takes a half to get up to game speed.

Oregon’s strength of schedule was so much better than Tech’s.

Is it? Two wins over BYU appears to be stronger than any wins Oregon has at this point. And wins over Utah and Houston are pretty equivalent to Oregons wins over USC and Iowa: maybe even better considering they were both on the road and Utah is a tough place to play. But I'll give you that the weather conditions at Iowa certainly favored them and yall still won so I'll call it a draw.

The only other big game Oregon played was a loss to Indiana.

Oregon’s strength of schedule is better by every metric I’ve seen. Like Oregon’s strength of record is #4 and Tech is #16. I’ve seen BYU up close and their athletic composite isn’t good.

I’m not really impressed with Tech’s OL. It looks like the worse one in the quarters.

Their front seven looks elite. It should be an interesting matchup

If that's just a reflection of games like Rutgers counting for a lot more "strength" than games against UCF or whatever then I don't really think that provides any value. When you're comparing top 10 teams, there's not really much difference between a win vs an opponent ranked 50th and 100th. They should both be easy wins. I don't think all SoS metrics really account for that so they're hard to place any value on.

I'll add that the only TTU game I watched was vs Utah so I'm not trying to argue that they're better or worse than Oregon. Just saying the SOS seemed similar. And that game made me think TTUs coaches were dumbasses bc they had like 8 false starts and still wouldn't quit trying to snap the ball on the clap

I’m really familiar with West Coast football. I would rather play BYU over USC or Iowa 10/10 times

Also, I would say a team like Washington would’ve competed in the Big 12
