Did not bet the house, thought Vegas was laying a trap. Did however take USF

Washington fumbles on the Rutgers 3 yard line. Still down 10-7 2 minutes before the half

Did I just watch a team playing Washington not use any of their timeouts still within a theoretical probability of winning to redirect Huskies fans attention towards the Mariners trying to clinch the ALDS? Sports, if you're wondering where it all went wrong, shite like this is it. An opponent coaching a New Jersey college football team just voluntarily conceded a game that was still winnable to help out a pro baseball team sharing his OPPONENTS metro

What are you talking about? UW had the ball up 3 scores with like 1:45 left.

Rutgers had 3 timeouts left and used none of them, do the math. I understand using sports to lift people up, but it should be organic, this isn’t the way. And yes politics primarily skews this, the trend is obvious with who’s in office vs the states that were/are against them and doing well in sports to calm the outrage

I was at the game. Rutgers was cooked. We all had baseball on our phones, so we multitasked. It’s easy to do, especially with the stupid long cfb TV timeouts.

There is not a decade where Rutgers would've called a timeout with less than 2 minutes left down by 3 scores.
