With a 10 second runoff, TTU would have had to use a timeout or the clock would have started running under 17 seconds.
It becomes a lot harder to run under that scenario.
I don’t think it was an awful decision. It’s up for debate, but under 30 seconds, preserving time for a drive the other way isn’t worth much.
