I am going to stay away from Clemson and bet $50 on Georgia Tech -12. That's my only play so far.

I'm up $305.50 on the year.

I don't see NC state scoring more than 14

Me either. They are horrible. I might put more on them since I already withdrew my principal and am just playing with house money. But I'll sleep on it.

I love ND too over Purdue, they are also awful. I can see my Wisky pushing.

I don't bet on Notre Dame games

I like Wisconsin, but Nebraska is decent and I could see it being close.

I don't normally either, but I'll make an exception for them playing purdue.

I use TopBet and have a feeling that if Baylor and GT are set up similar to some of the spreads I've seen posted tonight, I'll be all over that.

Yesterday was the first time I've ever bet on sports. I put up $10 on LSU covering at -6 and lost a $5 parlay due to Petrino and Kiffin sucking dick. I guess that makes me half a unit up on the year.

ND is notorious for playing down to the opponents level. I wouldn't touch any of their games.

Up $130.97 after four weeks after starting out with $22.00

I took GA Tech at -12 already.

I'm thinking about taking:
Houston (-17.5) at UTEP
Mississippi State at UGA (-7.5)
Texas Tech (-7.5) at Kansas
Texas A&M vs. Arkansas (+3)
Memphis at Middle Tennessee State (-21)

What do you guys think?

I like Georgia Tech, a lot, obviously.
I'm done betting on Houston after the LA Tech game.
I wouldn't touch any of the other 4, honestly. Seem like toss-ups.

I played that one. Stay away from the hogs, at least until you hear the status of our D. We may have 4 starters out. Memphis is horrible but I don't have confidence in Middle Tennesse St at all to kill anybody.

Stay away from Miss St/UGA. Too tough to call.

I like Houston but it's scary betting on a team that doesn't have a defense and I don't know anything about UTEP. I know they are bad but don't know how bad.

My favs by far

GT,ND

Next in line- Michigan,TT

Wisky- Real strong but opponent is good too.

Notre Dame- -13 $42.67- Purdue=Awful

just some things to consider even if purdue is exceptionally terrible.

- purdue had a bye last week; two weeks to prepare.
- home, night game, national TV.
- this is the most important game of purdue's season as they have no chance to win anything else meaningful.
- robert marve is supposed to be at full strength; ND struggles vs dual-threat QBs.
- pitt gave the blueprint on how to defend ND and mike floyd; it will be interesting to see how ND adjusts.
- ND is easily three scores better than purdue but their QB play is god awful; expect TOs.

10/1/2011 12:20 PM College Football 190 LSU* -23 vs Kentucky

Early game, LSU will murder them but they may not be jacked for this one.

10/1/2011 12:00 PM College Football 128 Army* +1 vs Tulane

When two shitty teams play, it's a crapshoot

10/1/2011 3:30 PM College Football 160 Arkansas* +10 vs Texas A&M

I think 10 covers, but we may have 4 starters out on D and we have zero run game. Last year we went down to the wire with a healthy team and just got lucky to win.

0/1/2011 8:00 PM College Football 188 Wisconsin* -2½ vs Nebraska

I like Wisky here but again (i bet it straight up) but Neb can play.

quote:

0/1/2011 12:00 PM College Football 176 Georgia* -½ vs Mississippi State

Again, tough game. It's the SEC and both teams have shown crappy d and suspect offenses at times. Could go either way, people wouldn't be shocked to see Miss St win.

quote:

10/1/2011 7:00 PM College Football 174 Louisiana Tech* +3½ vs Hawaii

Hawaii is traveling very far and can put up points. What I don't like? Tech can't close out a game.

I agree and I normally hate playing ND but I think they smash them. I see about 38 to 13 game.

No such thing as house money. Once you win it, it is your money not theirs. It's just a bad and loose way to think about gambling, no matter how big or small you play. You will lose discipline and get loose with how you bet.
