alright guys here are my initial leans and games i like
first off already bet:
O72 in wisconsin oregon game
points points points wisconsin cant stop oregon oregon cant stop wisconsin. i see this needed 1 or 2 scores in the late third early 4th to hit the over
Iowa (small small)
put a small bet here when i hear Jaz Reynolds was out
Now to the leans and possible plays:
Over In Boise ASU game
ASU 109 passing D ASU has good Offense just see alot of points here. on the game its either Boise or no play IMO
Marshall
- Really like marshall here maybe a money line play small
Texas
Texas will run all over Cal and Texas D has actually been really good dont see Cal doing a ton in this game
N'Western
I love the points here i may even do a small money line bet on Nwestern here. TAMU is bad and has nothing to play for and dont have a coach
UNDER in GA tech Utah
Utes have a good D and GAtech isnt the same in bowl games. dont see many points here
Vandy
Vandy is one of my favorite plays. Great secondary and lil discount double check is really playing well. I see vandy rolling here
Auburn
SEC thats about all i got here. Out athlete UVA by alot
UGA
UGA will roll SEC SEC! UGA's solid D will force cousins to make plays and i dont see that happening against this D. I see UGA handling this game by 2+ scores
South Carolina
The difference in this game will be USCe Dline speed. Martinez will not be able to get out and make plays with his feet. Shaw will be able to make plays against Neb D
OKST
I lean them here but not a huge confident pick by me. I like the over alot here as i do see either team stopping the other. i look for a game in the hugh 30's+
Michigan
Hokemania! i just dont see VT being able to hang with denard and Michigan will make more plays. dont see this being a huge blow out but really like Michigan to cover somewhat with ease
Clemson
Healthy boyd and watkins = game over
Its easier to prepare to WV because all they do is throw so you dont need to really worry about run stop as much as reading and jumping screens and i see clemson playing well here. One of my higher plays
Pitt
Pitts d will get it done here. small bet nothing big. bet for action
Miss ST
Love miss state here. they will pound WF and it wont even be close.. one of my biggest plays
LSU
Of course im taking LSU here. tough game but i trust les with my unborn son in a game when he has 30+days to prepare. Think LSU has huge advantage in Sp Teams and game planning
More to come later if you want to know more of my reasoning behind a game just ask i wont get mad and will give my opinion. theres still alot that needs to go into these games for me but at the moment really like the card i have

Q: I’m curious what your approach is to betting on bowl games. Do you look at statistical analysis, coaching and motivational angles? Also, does having more or less upperclassmen help or hurt a team?
A: From a statistical standpoint, I don’t go very in-depth at all. At this point I know who/what teams are and they won’t change. The biggest element for me in analyzing bowl games is motivation. Some teams are pissed that they’re playing in a certain bowl, some teams are depressed, and some teams just don’t care. Beat writers are an incredible resource in determining motivation. I STRONGLY recommend reading the local papers when studying games.
Coaching/preparation is also important to me, especially if a team has a new coaching staff or one that is clearly on their way out. I don’t make it a basis for a bet, but I like to look for reasons to fade a coach on the way out under the assumption that he is probably looking at recruiting for his next gig as opposed to making a game plan for the game at hand. I look to play a young team with a firmly-entrenched coach under the assumption that the kids are playing for their jobs for next season and this is their audition for a coach who will make that decision.
I also like to play a senior-laden team that won’t have many NFL players under the assumption that they will give it their all due to the possible fact that it may be their last football game before moving on with life. In this case, I think the coaches will construct a game-plan giving these kids the best chance to win. Conversely, I look to fade a senior-laden team that will have a lot of NFL players under the assumption that they will be looking to protect their future contracts. From a coaching/preparation standpoint, I don’t think coaches would put the players in positions that would hinder their future prospects in any way.

It brings a tear to my eye to see all the @so_money_sports love being thrown around here these days...
I've gotten to the point that my only big plays are his and I put small plays in for personal entertainment.

I am relitavely new to so_money_sports. I have never followed or faded but I always take his opinion under consideration. My ear is always open to anyone trying to teach and not sell.
Are there any sports/conferences where you auto follow?

At first glance only one I don't like is picking Iowa over OU.
I'll dig deeper from my laptop...

I put a couple hundred bucks on every single play he puts in and my bankroll has done nothing but increase over time. He's hitting at around 74% since I started tailing all his plays in late September. He's on an 11 for 12 run currently. From what I understand he's hitting just over 72% for all of the plays he's ever posted on twitter. That's a percentage no one gets near. He's got great sources in NCAAF, NFL, NHL and CBB. Also heard he hits MLB and NBA at a decent clip but not his area of expertise...

The Iowa OU play is and will be my smallest play of bowl season. OU doesn't want to be there had BCS dreams coming in to the season and now are in a shite bowl. Iowa always comes to play in bowl season. Landry jones did not throw a TD since broyles went out and now no jaz.
I don't love the play but I think it's the right one. I agree it's a tough play

When do you play to actually bet Tebow and will you post the bets you actually make (and not just leans)?
Posted on 12/12/11 at 7:49 pm to okietiger
Ummm I'll probably bet a few Wednesday and then bet most on gameday.
I will post my play in line here and keep a running track in my reserved spot on the first page of this thread...... He'll I may make my own thread

I think Oklahoma State is going to beat Stanford by a healthy margin. I'm thinking 45-21 or so.

Same. My goal is to be up 75 units after bowl season. That would be my 2nd most successful season to date.
