Not sure why we bother playing a regular season if more than half of the SEC gets a host spot. You ought to have to be in the top 4 in your conference to get a host site. A team that finished in the bottom half of its conference during the regular season gets to host a regional.
I get it's all about money, but that's just stupid to give teams in the middle of the pack in the SEC a host spot, regardless of how tough the conference supposedly is.

Well other conferences besides the SEC and ACC should give a shite. Big 12 and PAC had down years so this is what happens.
