Y'all worried about the .960 fielding %? Lsu will put pressure on ULL's defense Tuesday night. I'm expecting 3 errors minimum.

3 errors won't matter after we score 17 runs

ULL has an impressive 3.63 team ERA, compared to LSU's 2.43. ULL's batters have stuck out 54 times (6.75 per game). LSU is at 28 (4 per game).

RPI, LSU 26, ULL 29.

NPI, LSU 26, ULL 32.

SOS, LSU 41, ULL 47.

ULL has 1 more win than LSU, ULL has .004 higher batting average, and ULL has struck out more opposing batters. I suppose it might be a close game. We'll see how the midweek starters compare. I'm putting my money on LSU.

You know who LSU will start? I heard we're starting Kody Smith (2 appearances 0 starts) 0.00 ERA, 5 IP, 1 unearned run, 1 hit, 4 Ks, 0 BB.

I don't know how many innings he'll pitch. We may not pitch as many people as we normally would since we have another game on Wednesday.

I assume Cody Glenn. Glenn is hopefully going to end up as the Sunday starter before SEC play starts.

Vs Lamar, Glenn had 5 IP, 3 hits, 1 run (unearned), 2 walks, 5 strikeouts, and a .167 opponents BA. His ERA is 0.0.

Too bad y'all can't get Gausman back for this game.

Too bad your team gives away 7 outs a game. Nice approach at the plate.

Wouldn't want to waste him, we have Stephen F Austin the next Tuesday

With your high strikeout rate, Gausman would definitely overdose on doughnuts. He would probably break our record of 24 strikeouts vs ULL.

That dude was good for a homerun every time he pitched against us.

LSU has 6 home runs in 7 games. ULL has 5 home runs in 8 games.

Yeah, but Alex Box is a homerun generating machine. The ball doesn't fly out of the Tigue as easily.

Yeah and you had to walk 5 miles uphill both to and from school didn't you? Stop being a drama queen.

It's intimidating to go up against the defending SEC champion. We understand.

Cajuns have 65 runs scored to LSU's 51.
Cajuns have 20 doubles to LSU's 14 doubles.
Cajuns have 3 triples to LSU's 0 triples.
Cajuns have 5 HRs to LSU's 6 HRs.
Cajuns BA is .322 to LSU's .316
Cajuns OBP is .410 to LSU's .406
Cajuns Slugging % is .465 to LSU's .451
Cajuns have 32 walks to LSU's 32 walks.

LSU seems to be underperforming so far and UL is hitting the ball much better than they did last year. I think this game will shape up to be a close one. Both teams have played similar caliber opponents so far. I think the Cajuns come out on top since we will have the rowdy home crowd behind us.
