Tech is going to win this one off of effort and smarts alone. They're getting offensive boards when they're missing most of their frontcourt. Gotta give them credit. Marlin has some work to do.

Cajuns were in control for 25-30ish minutes then got dominated the rest of the time. Our lead wasn't really sustainable. We built our lead on long jumpshots against a team with no post players when our best player is 6'10. It was very stupid to not just toss it into the post on every possession. Long should have finished the game with 15 free throw attempts.

Good game Cajuns. You have owned us the last two years but we got this one. What do ya'll think about Coach Konkol? I think he is going to do better than Coach White. I was worried when Coach White left for Florida that Tech would make a terrible hire and would regress into a terrible mens basketball school. Man I was wrong. I knew nothing of Coach Konkol before the hire but his resume is impressive. He's been a successful assistant Coach everywhere he's been and he's not missing a beat since becoming an Head Coach.

Shocked that Tech won this game - I like the way they're guy at Tech coahes the game to the players.
He won't be there long.
Also - there is a good bit of talk that Rice and LaTech moving to the MWC - I don't see Tech making the cut.
