That is true, but there are also plenty of people too young to have seen them who are Kobe fans more than Laker fans. Lakersground, the biggest Laker message board, is filled with them. It's actually kind of funny to watch the real fans of the team fight with the Kobe bandwagon fans on that site.

thats true with the laker fans of the 16-30 generation but the dick riding of LBJ by the same demographic is even worse. My friends from ohio i went to wvu with, who are life long cavs fans think they are annoying as shite.
When random people call the cavs their team, when they never gave a frick about them before LBJ cracks me up
