Buckeye fans: Oregon @ Ohio St

How is everyone feeling about the 2021 Buckeyes?
I still think Oregon is still a couple years out from competing on this stage.
Hoping we might catch you breaking in a new qb and rb.

Should be very good in the trenches on both sides of the ball. both OTs return, and the other 3 should be high 4*/5* guys. May be a top 3 unit in the country
WR is probably the best overall unit in the country with Olave coming back.
RBs should be fine, with young Henderson a true frosh potentially working his way into the lineup as the year begins but Teague will start the year out; he's a 1 hole go type of guy
QB is new of course; there is an assumption inside OSU that CJ Stroud may lead, but I don't think anyone knows
Back 7 is where OSU will win or lose a chance at a national title. new LB crew and the secondary was not good last season obviously. Seems that OSU may turn into more of a base 4-2-5 rather than a 4-3. There's lots of young secondary talent, but I have no idea if its ready for prime time
Feel comfortable with the coaches

Are you saying Ohio State has 2 of three best units in CFB?

Well they probably do at WR and OL
This years Ohio State team will be better than 2020. By the time the games matter, their QB (whoever it is) will be primed. Like the other guy said, they will go as far in the playoffs that their secondary takes them

The Ohio State administration will cuck out and only allow 25% capacity requiring masks.

The offensive line and receivers should both be top 5 units in the country. I plan to be at the game. It should be a good one.

Ohio st. Always has a killer oline that is top three. I wouldn’t be surprised if their at group is at the top along with Bama (never not gonna place Bama at #1 we group again lol).
I expect them to blow us out and run all over us.

I covered Ohio at work but no longer. I am trying to find a way out there through work.
However, I am sure there will still be limited capacity.

Their olines are great. It sounds like they’re replacing three though. Also, top three compared to other OLs makes sense.
I couldn’t tell if that was top 3 of any unit.

I think OSU has a top 3 OL and has the best WR group in the country.
They could both be the best units in the country but going into the season I think most would agree their WR room is filthy

If they can get improved RB and secondary production the sky is the limit.
Of course it will be very hard to replace Fields but the OL and a great WR group should help that transition.

Clemson doesn’t have the resume on paper, but I think this WR group for Clemson will challenge for their best unit of all time
And I believe Hopkins, Watkins, and Martavis Bryant played at the same time

I get what you’re saying based on last year. That being said, we had no offseason whatsoever. They couldn’t even have them striking a medicine ball.
Ohio State does put a lot of point up on very good defenses, so you’re probably right.

Well, this might Oregon’s best WR unit in forever.
I think we had a WR get drafted once in the last 20ish years.
So, it’s better than average.

I expect it to be closer than I’d like it to be or even lose.
Then I’ll battle y’all the whole season when we roll off 10 W’s in a row, saying that we deserve to be in the playoffs... while all non OSU TD posters call me a troll and homer, including OSU posters like Sprint4Fun and PearlJam guy who really want acceptance above all else.
Then when committee puts us in, they’ll agree we actually should have made it since they were told so but don’t predict we win any playoff game.

Does that include the black mamba?

No. I am also remembering Drew Davis made a roster too.

Cameron Colvin is the one who should have been a whole lot better than he was.

You’re taking this Ohio Against the World inferiority complex to a new level.
