Brady

Disagree. Manning may be the best EVER
But the question is who would you take right now.
Joe Montana may be the GOAT, but I'd take Brees over montana right NOW.

No, I just have an opinion. Right now Id take Aaron Rodgers over him. More upside at this time
So, 1 game this season, you're taking Rodgers over manning?
Jesus.

do you really think an average QB couldn't succeed with the fantastic WR's, TE's, and Offensive Line that the Saints have put together?
Those "fantastic WRs" that the Saints have that you speak of have made how many Pro Bowls compared to Manning and Brady??? STFU with that

Pro Bowls are for suckers. If you really rate people based off Pro Bowls, I don't care about your opinion

I dont... I instatly regret saying that bc Im the same way.
but idk how you think our skill players are fantastic. They are average at best.. There's only one or two of these guys that could go anywhere else and be the #1 guy

I think Colston is fantastic, and Shockey when healthy is still a top 10 tight end. I'm not saying they're the best out there, but I think if Brees went down, they'd be able to go a couple of games above .500.

Colston
Shockey
Pierre Thomas
Bush
They could all start on other teams and be the #1 guy at there respective positions.

Out of our receivers I think Colston is the only one that could be a true #1.. I wasn't talking about our RBs... I think Both PT and Reggie could be starters... I meant our WRs
Idk about a few games over .500, did u see Brunell in tht last game

No Lebron thread for you to jump into right now?

He probably thinks Don Nelson is better than Johnny U.

I lol'd, but Brunell wasn't even close to being an average QB last year. The guy has a wet noodle for an arm, and his accuracy was dwindling. I don't know why the media always thinks older QB's suddenly become Chad Pennington in their sleep.

Brady, until recently he never had the talent offensivly that Manning had....

Really? You don't know what that means? LOLZ
The poll read which QB would you take "right now"
Not which would you take for the foreseeable future.
So, you're basically saying if you had an entire roster filled out except your starting QB, you'd take Rodgers over Manning RIGHT NOW.
That doesn't say much for your football IQ bro. Not trying to be an arse, but it's makes you look silly to think that.

Cause you never jump in Lebron threads.

There's no way anyone should say, "I take this guy and it's not even close..."
Yes, it is fricking close.
Brees/Manning/Brady are the unholy triumverate at QB right now, with Aaron Rodgers being at the top of that next tier (IMO).
Firstly, I don't believe in clutch, so I think that notion is silly. Plus, placing the entirety of a win/loss upon one player (even if it is the QB).
Secondly, of the three, for the majority of their careers, Manning is the only one who had supreme WR talent to work with. Now, are Harrison and Wayne as good without Manning? That's the unanswerable question.
But it's obvious that the guys Brady/Brees have thrown to are less than spectacular (I'm talking Pre-Moss for Brady and I think it remains to be seen on Colston).

This... not to mention Dallas Clark

Yeah. And that's partially how the organization is structured. They've been hell bent on surrounding Peyton with top offensive talent.
Pats more interested in getting defensive talent and making the other parts work on offense.
Saints kind of a blend.

Yeah, like acquiring Randy Moss.

and Wes Welker...
The thing with the Saints is SP designed that offense specifically for Drew... he took the things he's most successful with and built around them. I dont think that the average backup could come in and take us to the playoffs. You saw Brady go down and the Pats go 11-5 without him.. which is why I think that hes out of the picture... Manning may be as equal as Brees right now as the best even though he's surrounded by the most talent
