I really don't. I think without Brees the Saints are a .500 team. He makes all those players look so great. He hits 10 different receivers a game sometimes.
Back before Brady had WR's, he'd usually hit around 10 targets a game too. He even did that in 2007. We got screwed last year because there was no third WR to take the pressure off Moss and Welker. Tate is looking fantastic this year, and Edleman was good last year and is looking fantastic too. Our TEs have also been upgraded.

You a big LSU North fan?
I lived in Merrimack, New Hampshire til I moved down here at around 12-13. I went to LSU for three years, and then transferred.

Dude, I am not saying Brees is light years above Brady. I think they are close. I am just saying I gave the edge to Brees because minus Brady the Pats still did well and I don't think the Saints would. Again I will repeat, I like Brady and the Pats.

dude, you're retarded. Brees doesn't get sacked because of Brees. Look at the 2006 team with a shite line, a rookie Colsten and nothing else at WR, no TEs worth a shite, etc and see what he did.

When we won it in 2003, those were our WRs, Tight Ends, and RB/FB. Colston >>>>>>>>> those guys.

What does the Patriots 2003 lineup have to do with any a-hole being able to QB the Saints to the playoffs or whatever you said?
Posted on 8/13/10 at 1:26 pm to TheCaterpillar
I'm not being an a-hole, I'm just stating my point of view
. Honestly though, I'm probably the only Brady biased guy on the entire site so meh. I guess I'm just kinda irritated at the guys that are like he's a prima donna blah blah. The guy oozes leadership, like Brees, and unlike Manning. Cassell was also in our system for like 4 years when that happened.

If you're going to say that Brees is irreplaceable back in the day and Brady isn't, how come Brady was successful with basically shite at the receiving end.

Anytime you say I don't want to call out any teammates, yes, yes you do.

i never argued that Brady was a system QB. Your prop-up for the Brady argument was that any dickweed could take Brees spot and the train would keep rolling and thats just moronic.
I'm a Brady fan and a Manning hater btw.

I hate Manning, he will always be a choking dog in my mind...great regular season QB (probably best regular season QB ever) and can't get it done in the postseason
Posted on 8/13/10 at 1:35 pm to Maximus
I never said keep rolling. I said be successful. Big difference. I also said "average" QB, which in this case would probably be a 12-17 ranked QB in the market of Donvon McNabb or Matt Ryan, unless you guys are really high on them.

Tell me you didn't just say this.

I don't care what yall say, Manning tends to come up short every single time when it really matters (college and NFL). He didn't exactly "wow" me in the Super Bowl against the Bears and the pick 6 he threw to Tracy
Porter....
. I'll stick with my original lineup of:
-Brees, Brady, then Manning.
-Brees, Brady, then Manning.

Sorry, you don't throw your team under the bus and still want to be called a leader.
