So sorry if this has been discussed one hundred times.. trying to do something cool for my Dad. Is it worth getting xfinity with MLB network to see some Braves games? Are there enough Braves games on xfinity to make it worth it or do you need Bally Sports?

If he’s out of the braves region, mlbtv. If he’s in braves territory, absolutely worth it.

But also. No need in doing it now because it will all be national broadcasts for playoffs

if your dad is in a blackout zone then get whatever cable package has bally. if hes outside of the blackout zone, then cable doesnt matter. get him a subscription to MLB.tv and if he has a streaming device that can be hooked up to the tv, it will be like watching cable

You did need Bally for the regular season, but as the previous poster said, playoff games will be a national broadcast. And frick Bally.

MLB TV website has a list to enter his zip code and check who is blacked out in the area. I think Pensacola blacks out the Rays and Marlins, so that should be good. They have 2 options at the beginning of the year. They have a one team package for around $100 or every out of market game for around $130. Not really a bad deal to watch out of market, I wish the NFL would do something similar, just be sure to check the blackouts.
