NOTRE DAME-PROVIDENCE
-Notre Dame is trying, but it's just not gonna be enough unless something dramatic happens. Providence? Out for now, and lots of work to do. Not looking promising for the Friars.

ND is 100 percent and Providence tanked on the big stage. I'd say Providence has a 3/10 chance of getting in now.

TENNESSEE-KENTUCKY
-Both are now double-digit seeds in my book. Tennessee and Kentucky may finally converge on the 10 line.

UT is definitely slipping and they could have 18 wins and STILL get in. The committee will be too impressed with #1 SOS and good rpi. This fora team that likely finishes 4th in the SEC East.

UTAH STATE-ST. MARY'S
-Pisces will be happy. He's championed St. Mary's the whole way, and now they are back in. That was a statement sent to the selection committee beating a ranked team without Patty Mills.

Very impressed with this team. The only problem is that they likely get in as a 9 seed and have to play a #1 in the 2nd round, provided they get by the first game.

KANSAS STATE-IOWA STATE
-Still holding firm on my bubble after a most unconvincing win in Ames.

If KSU gets in as that "last 12 seed", there are going to be about 30 pissed off schools.

I had Penn State as that random at-large 13 that pops up every couple of years (remember Bradley a couple years back?) K-State could end up there if they can finish 10-6 in the league.

The Big Ten is the beneficiary of everything right now, but I don't see Minnesota getting there. And frankly Penn State is iffy. Could end up with Michigan being the 6th team, rather than the 8th.

The Mountain West is wide open, should be a very intriguing tourney, especially if UNLV or New Mexico comes through for the auto bid.

I fear for the SEC. Somehow, I think that Kentucky-Florida game at the end of the year could be for a bid. And South Carolina isn't in the world's best shape, either. We might drop to 4 in the end.

If L'ville runs the table and gets to the finals of the Big East tourney, they should get a 11. I am going to predict an upset in M'town, though, giving the Cards a tied for 2nd place finish in the Big East.

i can realistically agree with this

im really not worried about gtown at all to be honest

then marquette at home. we SHOULD win that game as they will have no answer for clark/samuels/jennings

then seton hall on senior night, easy w

and then to wvu. only scary game left imo

Ohio State is clearly on the bubble now. Wisconsin blew a chance to get off the bubble.

And Michigan....woooop. Bye. A loss to Iowa? That's Indiana territory.

Where were you sitting for the game today? I was somewhere in 202. I'll have to wear my bracket shirt next time for identification.

Yup. Michigan was never on my radar. I'm glad that this was one team I was right about.

I was in 101. You were right above me, I guess. Yeah, apparently many TD.comers sit near us.

I'm at work revising the bracket. Working from the bottom at the time being, because Wake-Duke can affect the 2/3/4 lines depending on the result. Actually, Arizona-ASU could have an effect on the bottom lines also.

OK. I hope you feel better about yourself by putting me down.

Glad you provide proof behind your awesome logic.

Like I said, I applaud your effort a lot. There is no way I could spend that much time projecting all of the seeds. It must take forever even just updating it. I just think you are off on a few things here or there. No big deal though.

Yeah. Wake somehow can come back and win and they get that 1 status back. I'm awaiting this outcome. I projected them as a 3, thinking they were going to cool off some more.

I ask you, though...is beating Duke still a big feat, even at Cameron? I still say "yes", but Coack K's last loss with a great team was to LSU. I am starting to see too many holes in Duke. I think they're the one team, 1-3 seeds, that is LEAST likeliest to win it all.

Being wrong on a few things in your opinion = sucks arse?

And remember, these are projections...a lot of what you see if what I see in the future.

Absolutely, but a moot point. I ran off to get Chinese food for the Arizona-ASU game. Nothing like a big time rivalry game with General Tso's chicken, steamed broccoli and rice, and eggrolls.

I think Wake probably holds on the 2, but I haven't gotten that far. I want to see this game a bit. Duke was a 3 for me....maybe up, maybe not.

ETA: Wake will definitely have to drop after further review. Nobody else in that region lost.

i'm keeping WFU at a 3. Florida State, I have moved up...sleeper team of the ACC. I gotta put Maryland in. They are getting by at .500 in conf play...in the toughest conference.

I had Wake as a 2 based on their body of work, but I have to drop them. Maryland got in thanks to their win and some other bubble losses. I think you'll see that in my bracket, Siena and Butler will be in an at-large position, while Davidson and Utah State are not. USU has lost 2 of 3 and don't have the strongest résumé.

I still wouldn't say we're on the bubble, yet (well, maybe we are, depending what your definition of "bubble" is). I'd probably say we're around a 10 seed, right now. Maybe one of the last 10 teams in, but not last 5. Luckily, we have a great chance of going at least 3-1, before heading into Big 10 tourney play.

Bubble, to me, doesn't necessarily mean one of the last teams in. Means a team that is slipping and is in a very vulnerable spot.

You're 7-7 in Big 10 play...just cannot lose the next two games. You gotta go 1-1 and win a game in the Big 10 tourney and you're in, assuming they're doing a Big 10 Tourney.
